Tanzania Fisheries Development Co. Ltd. (TFDC) is engaged in Processing and Export of Lake Victoria Nile Perch, at its state of art Fish processing plant located at Ilemela, Mwanza. Its foundation stone was laid down by his Excellency President of United Republic of Tanzania on 2nd day of May 2007.
TFDC was also officially opened on 13th day of May 2008 by His Excellency President of United Republic of Tanzania. All the regulatory licenses and approvals have been done. The Plant meets all EU standards and USFDA and other food safety standards. TFDC has an ultra modern processing and packing lines with very modern machineries, conveyors and automated flake ice plants and giving a top edge to TFDC when compared with its other competitors in Tanzania.
In May 2008 TFDC has got its export Licen ...se and its EU approval no. A-PP-230 In July 2008.
